A little about me...
Hi, I’m Eleanor Lewis. I’m a counsellor and psychotherapist. I have always worked with people, after a career as a Social Worker, I retrained, gaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. For me, this work is all about connection — the power of being listened to, understood, and supported without judgment.
I’m based in the Brecon Beacons National Park, and whenever possible, I love to bring the natural world into the therapeutic space. There’s something incredibly grounding about being outdoors, and I often find that walking and talking, or simply being in nature, can help people open up in new and meaningful ways.
Alongside my therapy practice, I’m also a qualified Trauma Centre Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) facilitator and yoga teacher. This means I can bring a body-based approach to my work, especially when supporting people who have experienced trauma. I tailor my approach to each person, drawing from a range of therapeutic methods, always with kindness, care, and curiosity.
If you’re considering counselling, I’d be glad to meet you, wherever you're starting from.
